Quiet Garden Morning, Saturday, April 22
Parishioner Susan Bancks will lead this time for quiet reflection on gardening as prayer beginning at 9:30 a.m. in Cummings Chapel.
This spring marks the twenty-fifth anniversary of the international Quiet Garden Movement. On April 22, over three hundred public and private gardens participate by opening their gardens to all, for rest, renewal and prayer.
St. John's Cathedral is a member of the Quiet Garden Movement. What better day than Earth Day to come spend some time in the beautiful gardens of the Cathedral as we join in celebrating twenty-five years of this very special movement founded in England.
Please join us. All are welcome. Refreshments will be served.
“The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.” - Isaiah 58:11
