St. Mary's Food Pantry Needs Your Donations
Our colleague congregation in Springfield, St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, sponsors an important food pantry. During the Covid-19 pandemic the needs have increased dramatically. We are calling on all food donors!
Next time you’re at the grocery store, please consider buying an extra bag of groceries for those in need. They especially need the following:
+ Canned meats
+ Canned or dry beans
+ Canned vegetables
+ Pasta and pasta sauce
+ Peanut butter and jelly
+ Personal hygiene — shampoo, conditioner, soap and razors
+ Diapers, size 3+
Please drop off your food donations Monday thru Friday mornings, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m at the Cathedral House, use the entrance facing Church Street. You can push the buzzer, Judy will let you in, and you can leave your donation on the bench in the hallway. Should you have difficulty delivering your donation, please contact Forrest Andrews (904-591-2826), and he will schedule a pick-up from your home.
St. Mary’s Pantry also needs volunteers to package and box groceries on Tuesday mornings and Wednesday afternoons. Please contact Emily Waters at (904) 710-9354 if you can help.
Thank you for caring about our neighbors.
