New Summer Series: Conversations in Community
How does a follower of Jesus, a person of both faith and intellect, know how to pray and how to serve in times of such complexity and injustice?
How can we begin to understand issues in light of the Gospel?
How are we called to respond?
The Episcopal Church is a church of reasoned discourse and prayer. We will not tell you how to think or act, but rather give you the tools to discern God’s call in your life and your particular response to the pain of this world.
Join us after the 10 a.m. service throughout the summer months as we engage in a half-hour discussion that illumines the heart of one pressing issue at a time. Each week, we will invite a person or persons in our community who has devoted themselves to contemplating a particular issue. We will simply talk and pray together.
Sunday, June 4, John Caulfield will join Dean Kate to discuss our response to immigration. Stay tuned for more topics and information. We look forward to learning with you! Join us.
