Preserve and Proclaim Honoring The Rt. Rev. Frank Cerveny Speaker Series
The Cathedral welcomes The Rev. Billy Cerveny as the first speaker in the Preserve and Proclaim Honoring The Right Reverend Frank Cerveny Speaker Series. Billy is a Pastor at Midtown Fellowship in Nashville, Tennessee, a Jacksonville native (Episcopal School of Jacksonville Class of 1987) and the youngest son of Emmy and Bishop Frank Cerveny, sixth bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Florida. Prior to serving at Midtown Fellowship, Billy earned his Master of Divinity and studied counseling at Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri. He was also a touring singer/songwriter and has recorded three studio albums (A Horse Named Pride, AM Radio and Donnelly Carter Payne). Billy currently lives in Nashville with his wife Charla and their three children, Emmy, Wiley and Scout.
