Native Fresh is an education-focused commercial aquaponics farm located in the heart of downtown Jacksonville, Florida. It is a ministry of Fresh Ministries. Because of the tightly controlled environment, a wide variety of produce is grown year-round using no pesticides and significantly less water than traditional methods.
Every plant in the system grows fast – which allows for continuous weekly harvesting. Most of the produce is delivered directly to the Duval County Schools through Chartwells K12, providing Duval school cafeterias with fresh, locally grown, organic, pesticide-free vegetables daily!
Please join us for a tour of the aquaponics farm located at 958 Albert Street, near A. Philip Randolph Blvd., Jacksonville Friday morning, May 13, at 9 a.m. We will learn all about Native Fresh’s ongoing mission of sustainable farming. The work they are doing is incredible!
