Vierne 2020 - Three Concerts, Six Symphonies
Louis Vierne was organist at Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris from 1930-1937. His six organ symphonies are formidable works designed to exploit the full musical possibilities of a large symphonic organ, like the “Great Organ” at St. John’s Cathedral. Tuller will play all six symphonies in sequential order:
Sunday, October 11, Symphonies 1 and 2
Sunday, October 25, Symphonies 3 and 4
Sunday, November 8, Symphonies 5 and 6
All concerts begin at 5 p.m. at St. John's Cathedral, 256 E. Church Street.
Seating will be limited due to the social distancing protocols and masks must be worn. These concerts will also be live streamed on our YouTube Channel.
