A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols
December 31
5 p.m.
A New Year's Eve tradition at St. John's Cathedral, the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols has been voted one of the top things to do on New Year's Eve in Jacksonville. We agree that it is an excellent way to start the last evening of the year! While the specific carols sung during the service change from year to year, we follow the example of the service at King’s College and always begin with “Once in Royal David’s City” and end with “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing.”
