MUSIC AT THE CATHEDRAL
At St. John’s Cathedral, music is foundational to our worship. It unites us, elevates our worship, and celebrates the blessings in our lives. Our cathedral has long cherished its Anglican musical traditions, and we are recognized through the city and beyond for our exceptional organ, choir, and high-caliber music. Recently, we’ve enriched our offerings by incorporating diverse musical styles, including African-American spirituals, enhancing our Sunday worship and connecting us with broader traditions.

ART AT THE CATHEDRAL
Art plays a vital role in fostering creativity and community at St. John’s. The Cathedral hosts several art exhibitions throughout the year, featuring work from local artists. These exhibitions have showcased a wide variety of mediums, including fiber arts, photography, painting, and sculpture. In addition, the Cathedral is home to two painting groups that meet regularly in our dedicated space, known as the Painting Place. Here artists come together to create, collaborate, and develop their artistic skills side by side.
