Our clergy are here to support you in celebrating and commemorating the significant moments in your life, including baptisms, weddings, funerals, and commitments to the faith. We walk with you in these sacred journeys, offering guidance and care as you mark these important life events.
Baptism
If you or a loved one wishes to be baptized here, please fill out a baptismal form to register; one of our clergy or staff will then contact you to set up an initial conversation. To prepare for this special rite of passage, we hold a preparation class, as well as a run-through with godparents – usually the day before the baptisms.
Confirmation, Reception, and Reaffirmation
Confirmation is a key step in our spiritual journey as Episcopalians. It’s a way of publicly declaring our commitment to our faith and taking a more active role in our church community.
Weddings
We are delighted that you are considering St. John's Cathedral as the location for one of the most joyous and sacred days of your life.
Although being a member is not a requirement to be married at the Cathedral, our sincere hope is that couples will attend worship at the Cathedral during marriage preparation and that each couple will consider becoming a regular part of the Cathedral community.
Funerals
