Being With...
Digital Disciples
Sundays April 16 - June 11
9 a.m.
Zoom Meeting and Busey Conference Room
Being With is a brilliant follow up to our Lenten study of Sacred Relationships because this course is based on a belief in Significant Relationships. Developed by the Rev. Sam Wells, Vicar at St. Martin-in-the-Fields, London, Being with involves sharing our stories. In doing so, we can discover a way to be attentive to God and discover that God is present to us.

Join us to read and discuss Esau McCaulley’s Reading While Black, winner of the 2021 Christianity Today Book of the Year award. “Esau McCaulley’s voice is one we urgently need to hear. This book is prophetic, biblical, measured, wise, friendly, and well-reasoned—and thus all the more hard-hitting. A powerful word for our times.” N. T. Wright, Professor of New Testament at the University of St Andrews, Senior Research Fellow at Wycliffe Hall, Oxford. You can find copies of the book at the St. John’s Cathedral Bookstore & Gift Shop.
