Mac Truque – As in the Days of

The Taliaferro Hall Gallery is currently featuring the work of Jacksonville artist Mac Truque in an exhibition titled As In The Days Of. The exhibition invites viewers into an exploration of ideas—some familiar, others intentionally new and untested.

For Truque, the process of making art is an adventure into unexplored territory. His work brings together visual images and evocative titles to create connections between what we see and the larger ideas the work invites us to consider. The result is an exhibition that encourages curiosity, reflection, and a willingness to wrestle with ideas that may not have easy answers.

Meet the Artist
Join us for an Artist Walk & Talk with Mac Truque on Sunday, August 30, from 2–4 p.m. in Taliaferro Hall. Mac will share more about his work, his creative process, and the ideas behind As In The Days Of, followed by an opportunity for conversation and questions.

Come spend an afternoon with the artist and experience the exhibition through his eyes.

The exhibition is on display in Taliaferro Hall Gallery through the end of August. All are welcome.
