Class of 2028
Laura Jane Pittman is a seasoned communications strategist with more than 30 years of experience in writing, editing, and strategic communications across fields including public relations, marketing, transportation, education, nonprofit work, and the arts. She holds both a B.A. and M.Ed. in English and has a deep appreciation for language and storytelling. Earlier in her ministry, she directed a children’s choir for 12 years at her former parish.
At St. John’s Cathedral, Laura Jane is an active member of the Editorial Team for Cathedral Quarterly and has previously served as Lay Stewardship Co-chair. She is involved in the Center for Wellbeing through a support group, participates in outreach efforts such as Hunger Fight and St. Mary’s groceries, and engages in Soul Gardening. Her role on the Vestry is liaison to the Formation Council.
A lifelong music lover, Laura Jane sings and plays piano. She recently added drums to the mix, enjoying time tinkering (enthusiastically, if not perfectly!) on her Roland set.
