A Sunday of Worship, Discovery, and Celebration

Our Annual Meeting is almost here—and this year, we’re inviting you into a joyful Sunday of worship, discovery, and celebration. After we receive Communion at the 10:30 a.m. service, instead of returning to our pews, we’ll move directly to Taliaferro Hall for our Annual Meeting. Then, we’ll move straight into a festive celebration across the Cathedral campus.

A live jazz ensemble will be playing in the reception area, setting a warm, welcoming tone for the celebration. In Burwell Court, a fire pit will be ready for making s’mores—a sweet way to gather in the chilly air. For children and families, games and activities at the Hakimian Family Nursery will include Giant Jenga, face painting, and more. Food will be in the Busey Conference Room and Ingram Lounge.

This Sunday is also an invitation to discover community through a simple, fun scavenger hunt. During the meeting, you will have heard about our budding ministries—the Cathedral Bookstore and The Center for Wellbeing—and the joy of Discipleship Groups. Now, you can go explore them for yourself. Collect three stamps for a free gift:

• Stamp 1: Visit Room 304 to learn about Discipleship Groups.
• Stamp 2: Stop by Rooms 302 and 305 to discover The Center for Wellbeing.
• Stamp 3: Head across the street to the Cathedral Bookstore for your final stamp, a small gift, and an extra 10% off any purchase.

Cookies and treats lovingly prepared by our Baking Ministry will be available at each stop!

Whether you come for worship, stay for the celebration, or explore new ways to connect, this will be a joyful moment to give thanks for the year behind us and delight in the community we are building together.
