A Contemplative Walk at Cedar Point National Park
St. John’s Cathedral Green Spirits and the Timucuan Parks Foundation invite you to take a contemplative in Cedar Point National Park.
We will walk on a relatively wide, leaf-covered hiking trail that winds through tall oaks and overlooks vast expanses of salt marsh. Our walk begins at the boat ramp to the Fitzpatrick Ruins and the scenic bridge connecting the National Park Service’s property with the City of Jacksonville’s Cedar Point. The surface is natural and flat (the total distance there and back is about 2 to 2.5 miles).
Please wear comfortable, closed-toed shoes. You should bring sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and a full reusable water bottle. Timucuan Parks Foundation will provide additional water and granola bar snacks.
A $5 per person donation will benefit the Timucuan Parks Foundation
