An interactive and reality-based financial education class designed for high school seniors and college students.
This course covers the real-world money skills most students never learn before leaving home, including banking basics, budgeting, credit cards, student loans, saving, compound interest, and smart spending habits. Through relatable examples and practical discussions, students learn how to avoid common financial mistakes, reduce stress, and build a strong financial foundation for the future.

About the Instructor
Shelley Turner is the owner of Financial Cents Wellness, where she leads financial workshops and coaching programs focused on financial well-being. She also volunteers with the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society, teaching “Budget for Baby” classes for active service members. Shelley serves as President and Co-Founder of Comfort for Animals Inc. and has held leadership roles with several nonprofit organizations, including the First Coast Pops Orchestra and the Women’s Club of Jacksonville. In her free time, she enjoys pottery, playing cello, traveling, and spending time with her miniature wire-haired dachshund, Josie.
