One of Christianity's most ancient services, Easter Vigil begins in the darkened Cathedral with the Service of Light: kindling a bonfire and lighting the Paschal candle. By candlelight, we recount the history of God's saving works in Hebrew Scripture and then renew our baptismal vows.
We invite you to join us in worship at St. John’s Cathedral on Sunday mornings, whether in person or online. Our worship is rooted in the traditions of the Episcopal Church and features beloved hymns, the Gospel, and choral music. Inspirational sermons are a mainstay. We are grateful for your presence and pray this service inspires and uplifts your journey of faith.
