Prior to being called to St. John’s, Mark was Rector of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Dallas. Prior to that ministry, he served as a Curate at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Jacksonville and then as the Interim Rector of Trinity Episcopal Church in Wrentham, Massachusetts.

Mark studied English and Economics at Georgetown and the University of Florida, earned a Master of Divinity from Yale Divinity School, and received a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Harvard University.

Mark is grateful to be raising his son, Philip, in the same church that he attended during his youth.
