The Chosen: Becoming Disciples

This Lent, join us as we explore what it means to become disciples through the story of Jesus and those who followed him. Using The Chosen, we will walk alongside Jesus and his disciples during the pivotal days leading into Jerusalem and toward the cross.

Together, we will walk with the disciples through Holy Week, from Jesus’ arrival in Jerusalem to his arrest in the Garden of Gethsemane. There is a lot to unpack in this emotion-filled journey. We will reflect on how the disciples learned, struggled, questioned, and ultimately grew in faith and courage.

Each week, clergy will guide us through the scriptures connected to these moments as we watch and discuss clips from Season 5 of The Chosen, while also revisiting meaningful scenes from earlier seasons that illuminate Jesus’ ministry and the call to follow him.

Through scripture, conversation, and shared reflection, we will consider how Christ continues to form us as disciples today.
