Welcome to St. John’s Cathedral in Jacksonville
We are found in the heart of downtown Jacksonville, where we serve Christ daily by ministering to the needs of the poorest in the city. We worship God in the beauty of an ancient service called Holy Communion. In our worship, we use words that Jesus himself taught us, words which have been spoken aloud for thousands of years in the Church. Our choir provides music that is sacred and full of the love of God. The rich and poor kneel down together and little children bless us with their presence. We welcome you to join us in the service of Jesus.
Our regular worship services are at 8, 9 and 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, and at 12:10 p.m. each weekday. Read more about the cathedral, and check out our e-newsletter.
ASH WEDNESDAY SERVICES: 7 a.m., noon and 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 22. Bishop S. Johnson Howard will celebrate at our noon service.
