January 7, 2026A New Flow for Sunday Worship
For this one Sunday, February 1, 2026, our worship flow will shift slightly. After you come forward for Communion, you will be invited—rather than returning to your pew—to proceed directly to Taliaferro Hall and take a seat for the Annual Meeting.
If you prefer not to attend the meeting, you are welcome to remain in the Cathedral for an organ voluntary. Priests will be stationed at the Cathedral exits to offer a blessing as you depart.
Meeting Highlights
The meeting will begin with the election of new Vestry members and delegates to Diocesan Convention.

Instead of multiple lengthy reports, we will share a single video that weaves together the story of our ministry in 2025. We will then:
- Celebrate an “Angel in Our Midst” with a special award
- Remember the saints in our parish who died in 2025
- Pray together
- Receive a blessing and dismissal
In this way, the conclusion of the Annual Meeting will also mark the end of our worship.
A Community Celebration
Following the meeting, we will celebrate together with:
- Live jazz music
- Great food
- Face painting and a giant Jenga set for children
- A fire pit for roasting marshmallows and making s’mores
If you are unable to join us in person, the Annual Meeting will be livestreamed so you can participate remotely.
Please mark your calendar for Sunday, February 1. This will be a meaningful opportunity to give thanks for all we accomplished in 2025, to look ahead to our hopes and vision for 2026, and to celebrate our community.
We look forward to being together.
