September 19, 2024Spiritual Wellness with Rev. Canon Susanna Gunner
September 19, 2024An online book study group will read, mark, and inwardly digest Candida Moss’s God’s Ghostwriters: Enslaved Christians and the Making of the Bible. Filled with profound revelations both for what it means to be a Christian and for how we read individual texts themselves, God’s Ghostwriters is a groundbreaking and rigorously researched book about how enslaved people shaped the Bible, and with it all of Christianity. Copies are available now at the St. John’s Cathedral Bookstore and can be mailed to you if you can’t pick them up. Led by Owene Courtney.
This book study is offered on Sunday (Digital Discipes) and Friday (Reading Between the Lines) mornings at 9 a.m. on Zoom. To register for the Zoom meeting, please visit Adult Formation.
