Holy Living: Christian Practice and How to Discern God’s Will in Your Life

We are all hungry to know what God would ask of us. How do we become the person God intends for us to be? All of the answers to this profound question lie within the heart of our ancient faith. From the event of our baptism to the daily practices of the Christian tradition, God has already given you every tool that you need to lead a meaningful and purpose-driven life. Your faith, quite literally, can make you well. This class will take you through the basics of the beliefs and practices of the Episcopal Church.

The class will meet twice every Wednesday. The same material will be presented at different times so that as many of you can come as possible. Lunch and Dinner will be provided on that day so you won’t have to learn with an empty stomach! I will primarily teach but I will be joined at times by Father Mark, Dr Linda and by lay leaders who will speak about their own lives.

Here are the times and locations…

Dates: Every Wednesday beginning Sept 11^th and continuing until April 30th with classes off for the month of December and for Ash Wednesday.

Times: 11:30 a.m to 1 p.m. and 6 to 7:30 p.m. The final half-hour is dedicated to small group discussion so that you can come to know one another.

Place: Ingram Lounge

I am convinced that together by digging deep into our faith, we will be fed in ways we cannot comprehend.
