I first attended the Cathedral in 1988 when Father Ed Harrison was the Dean. Over the years I attended services irregularly. During certain times and events in my life I would attend more as the church has always been a source of comfort and strength. In 2018, I made a conscious decision to make my spiritual journey a larger priori-ty. The Cathedral was the obvious choice since it was there I felt most a home. It was the place that over the years I was always drawn to even when I visited other churches. I attended Christian Formation with Joe O’Shields, was baptized by Dean Kate and was confirmed by Bishop Howard. As a child my family attended a Baptist church where they still attend today. For me it was important to have a church and church family that was welcoming and open for all to worship. I believe this is also very important for many Christians. As a parishioner, I believe it is important to let people know how awesome our church family is at SJC.
