Arts at St. John's Cathedral
Our mission for the Arts at St. John's Cathedral is to shine as a community where artistic creativity in many forms is valued as a spiritual practice, a force for reconciliation, and an appreciation for our shared humanity. The Cathedral's gallery is located inside Taliaferro Hall.
We host six art exhibitions annually, showcasing local artists. Each week, we invite artists of all abilities to join our painting groups in the Painting Place. The Tuesday art group meets from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and the Wednesday painting group meets from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Additionally, our bookstore hosts a monthly Arts@Noon discussion on Zoom.

Weekly Artist Gatherings
The Painting Place, located beneath Taliaferro Hall, is a well-equipped art room that welcomes artists for informal gatherings. Beginners can receive some initial guidance with materials; afterward, participation is self-funded. Bring an artist friend and join us at one of our two meeting times. Come see what you can create!
